We lived at number 28 Belmont Road from 1975 to 1982. I am sure this photo is from the western end, nearest Cornfield Road. When we lived there were very few cars parked on the road. We used to play football, ride our scooters and bicycles etc. The third Georgian building on the right #26 Belmont Road had been replaced by modern 1960s building .. Mrs Yandal lived there.. I remember her husband's car was sold ... many years after her husband died. It was a massive Chitty Chitty Bang Bang type car ... all in black.
